The next Elsewhere Adventure Club trip will be to Oaxaca, Mexico! The trip will take place from Friday, October 4, 2024 to Friday, October 11, 2024, and we’ll split time between one of our favorite small beach towns, La Punta, and the incredible Oaxaca City. We’ll begin at the beach, where we’ve planned plenty of time for relaxation, seafood, and sunsets. There will also be ample opportunity to explore La Punta and its surrounding beauty via optional excursions. We’ll end every evening together with a delicious dinner, enjoying the freshest seafood as we watch the sun sink into the ocean.
We’ll continue on to Oaxaca City to learn about and enjoy Oaxacan food, history, culture, art, and mezcal. From Zapotecan ruins at sunset to natural dye-making to sampling mezcal at a local favorite Palenque, every day will be full of places and people we love. We’ll stay at the Hotel Granna, a beautifully designed home base where we’ll have delicious breakfasts and take part in rooftop yoga each day (optional). We’ll have a group dinner each night, with a variety of our favorite Oaxacan flavors and hospitality on offer.
Our week in Oaxaca can be extended if you’d like! We’re offering an extension that will take us to the mountains of San Jose del Pacifico for more exploration. Details to follow on this, but it’ll be from October 11-13, 2024.
This trip is in partnership with Katie Wetzel Movement. Katie is an Atlanta-based yoga teacher and personal trainer. She’ll lead our daily yoga sessions and help us investigate all that mezcal. Check out Katie on Instagram and at her website.
